Everyday, we read something in the news about how this pandemic is treating us.
The impact of which has been both good and bad. Nature is recovering ,but for most of us, it has been a life threatening situation.
Recently, after a chat with my ex’Boss, regarding these difficult times, he sent me a few lines from an ancient Indian book called ” The Bhagawad geeta.” In the battle of krukshetra when Arjuna turned to Lord Krishna for guidance, Lord krishna stated some philosophical concepts which are relevant even today for those who seek spiritual guidance.
I think, this is how each time, a true leader emerges from the battle of life.
It is believed that these concepts can guide us in any battle and it has answers to all the problems. Mahatma Gandhi used to consider this book as a spiritual dictionary.
As many times as I may read it, I feel it is relevant to all of us in all stages of life.
I urge, all of you to read these few lines just as a conversation between two people . These are very simple teachings, which need not be seen in religious context, even today these teachings can guide us to happiness in any situation.
” Whatever has happened has happened for good”
“Whatever is happening is happening for good””Whatever will happen, shall also happen for good”
“What have you lost that you cry for ?”
“What did you bring that you lost ?”
“What did you create that was destroyed?”
“You came empty handed and will go empty handed “
“Whatever is yours today, was somebody elses yesterday and will become somebody elses tomorrow!”
How true and relevant these lines are! Nothing in our life is permanent.
The Earth keeps revolving, it never stays stable/ never stands still. As if it is saying “The Only constant thing in this universe is change”
The day ends and night follows, after the summers follows refreshing monsoons. This reinforces the fact that “Imparmance is the law of life”.
Hence, being proud of your wealth is a sign of immaturity, because it can vanish into thin air in a minute.
You can be a millionaire or a beggar in an instant. Accepting change will make you capable of facing any situation in life.
Hoping these lines give you the strength to face all difficult situations in life.
